FORMERLY KNOWN AS TEACHER OF THE YEAR
NCTAE is proud to represent the best educators in North Carolina! Each year at our Fall Sharing event, NCTAE awards a nominated theatre arts educator from North Carolina with the NCTAE Educator of the Year Award. This award is presented to a theatre arts educator who has achieved a high standard of quality in their pedagogical endevors. This person also has gone beyond the call of duty to provide an exceptional program that benefits their students and community and has shown their passion and dedication to the profession of theatrical arts. The Educator of the Year must be an active NCTAE member and is nominated through a letter of nomination that is submitted to NCTAE prior to Fall Sharing.
